Terms & Conditions:
All orders are accepted subject to the following conditions and our General Terms & Conditions of Sale, available on request.
All prices shown on this website and in company literature are exclusive of VAT. We endeavour to ensure pricing shown is correct though prices may be subject to change without notice and are set at the time of placing the order.
- Delivery Services
We offer a next day delivery service to most UK mainland destinations as set out in our Delivery Services and Returns Policy. Orders for items in stock will be dispatched the same day if the order and payment therefor are received by us by 4:00pm. We endeavour to advise customers of their order status within normal business hours on the same day that the order and payment are received. Notice will be given should any delay in dispatch occur as a result of administration issues, high throughput or an ordered item being out of stock at our warehouse or at our supplier or manufacturer. Orders will be held back until they can be dispatched in full. We take all reasonable steps to ensure goods are delivered within the stated period but we do not guarantee the timing of delivery and accept no responsibility for late delivery. We shall not incur any liability whatsoever due to any consequence of delayed delivery or product damage delaying an installation.
- Non-Stock, Made-To-Order and “Specials”
Any orders for non-stock items, made to order items or ‘specials’ will be treated as separate orders and cannot be returned for credit, unless agreed by us in writing.
- Damaged Goods
Any damaged goods should either be rejected or signed for as damaged at the time of delivery. Damage to goods must be reported within 24 hours of delivery otherwise claims cannot be entertained. A description of any damage should be made on the consignment note before signing or alternatively the delivery should be refused.
- Goods Returned
Goods may be returned subject to the conditions stated in our Delivery Services and Returns Policy document, available on request.
- Product Warranty
All products are guaranteed against faulty workmanship for a minimum of twelve months from the date of purchase in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions Of Sale, available on request.
- Cancellation of Orders
Orders for standard stock items may be cancelled if confirmed to us in writing and acknowledged by us prior to dispatch. Cancellation is subject to the conditions stated in our Delivery Services and Returns Policy document, available on request. Non-stock items, made to order items and ‘specials’ may only be cancelled by prior arrangement and in addition to the conditions of our Delivery Services and Returns Policy we shall be entitled to recover and deduct any payment processing or transaction charges incurred by us as a consequence of processing the cancelled order.
All ‘specials’ quotations given are Net prices and are only valid if confirmed in writing for the period specified.
Customers without credit facilities must make full payment for orders placed, prior to dispatch of the goods. We reserves the right to withhold dispatch of orders if payment has not been confirmed as having been received.
- Ownership of Goods/Retention of Title
Goods shall remain the property of Bownet Cable Management Systems Ltd until paid for in full by the buyer. Should payment of the amount owing under Contract not be made when due, Bownet Cable Management Systems Ltd reserves the right to remove and repossess the goods (and for that purpose shall be entitled to enter upon premises occupied by the buyer) in addition to exercising such other rights or remedies as may be conferred by law.
- Law and Jurisdiction
The Laws of England shall govern the validity, construction and performance of the Contract and these Conditions and each of the parties hereby agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
