Bulk A.V. Cable FAQs
What is the difference between LSOH/LSZH, PVC and LSF sheaths?
LSOH/LSZH cable gives off low smoke and no halogen gas if it burns, suiting enclosed public spaces. PVC is a general purpose sheath, and LSF gives reduced flame spread. Choose the sheath to match the building’s fire safety requirements.
What does CPR class Dca or Eca mean?
CPR class describes a cable’s reaction to fire under the Construction Products Regulation. Dca and Eca are both available in this range, with Dca offering better fire performance than Eca, and the correct class depends on the building and installation route.
What reel sizes does bulk A.V. cable come in?
Webro bulk cable in this range is supplied on 100 metre and 200 metre reels or boxes, letting you order enough cable for a full speaker, satellite or CCTV run without joining lengths.
