Product Overview:

The Excel Office Cat6 Low Profile RJ45 Module has been designed to fit and colour match to the Excel Office Range of faceplates. The curved plate finish and built in labelling fields on the module bring style and enhanced aesthetics to any installation.

This low profile module is a high performance, unscreened or unshielded, Category 6 Euro size (25x50mm) RJ45 data outlet designed to comply with the EIA TIA Standard. Each shuttered module is supplied with a slide label field and space above for use of self adhesive or further labelling if required.

Easy termination can be made using LSA compatible industry standard punchdown tooling. The low profile design also makes this module ideal for installation in shallow dado trunking.

Charcoal grey faceplates are also available in the Excel Office range to suit installations where compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and Part M of the Building Regulations is specified.

Compatible Faceplates:

Use Part Codes 100-270 for single gang white Office plates and 100-271 for double gang white Office plates.

Use Part Codes 100-270-GE for single gang charcoal grey Office plates and 100-271-GE for double gang charcoal grey Office plates.

Performance Overview:

Excel Category 6 data outlets are manufactured and tested to the Category 6 performance standards. A range of performance characteristics are tested upto 250MHz including return loss, attenuation and near and far end crosstalk (NEXT and FEXT) for which both worst case and power sum tests are completed. Actual performance far exceeds the required standard – when tested in isolation and in circuit – resulting in significant headroom for even the most demanding of applications. As well as providing link and channel compliance – when installed with Excel category 6 components the outlets are backward compatible with Category 5 and Category 5e components.
