Universal loose tube corrugated steel tape (CST) armoured optical fibre cables have been designed specifically for applications requiring a high degree of mechanical protection. These compact cables are extremely rugged, provide rodent resistance and are quick and easy to install.

- The cable consists of a single gel filled tube containing 2 to 24 fibres
- Water blocking gel within the loose tube provides moisture protection

- A ripcord is located under the jacket to facilitate jacket removal
