10" P.D.U's

10 inch PDUs bring mains power into a SoHo cabinet, supplied as 1U units with 3 way or 4 way UK socket options, one of which includes a switch.

10 inch PDUs bring mains power into a small SoHo cabinet, giving you UK sockets to power switches, patch equipment and other active devices mounted in the rack. They take up just 1U of rack space.

Choosing a PDU

This range includes a 1U 3 way PDU with a switch and a 1U 4 way PDU without one, both fitted with UK sockets. Choose the switched version if you want to isolate the whole cabinet at the PDU rather than at each device.

A PDU is one part of a 10 inch cabinet build. See our 10 inch SoHo patch panels, 10 inch shelves and 10 inch accessories to complete the cabinet.

10" P.D.U's FAQs

What is the difference between the two 10 inch PDUs?

The 3 way PDU includes a switch for isolating the whole cabinet, while the 4 way PDU gives an extra UK socket without a switch. Both are 1U units built for a 10 inch SoHo cabinet.

How much rack space does a 10 inch PDU take up?

These PDUs are 1U units, so they take up a single rack unit of space in a 10 inch SoHo cabinet, leaving the rest of the rack free for patch panels and shelves.

What else do I need to build out a 10 inch cabinet?

Alongside a PDU, most builds also need 10 inch SoHo patch panels, a shelf for equipment and other 10 inch accessories.
