Screed Floorboxes
Screed floorboxes sit flush in a solid floor screed, giving access to power and data sockets from below the finished floor. Available in 65mm to 90mm depths with 2, 3 or 4 compartments to suit cable volume and outlet count.

Screed floorboxes are recessed into a wet screed floor before the final finish goes down, giving installers a flush access point for power and data sockets once the floor is complete. They are specified on new build and refurbishment projects where cables need to reach workstations or fittings away from the perimeter walls.
Choosing a screed floorbox
Depth is the main decision: these boxes are available in 65mm, 75mm, 80mm and 90mm depths, so check the screed depth on the drawings before ordering. Compartment count matters too, with 2, 3 and 4 compartment options to separate power circuits from data and AV cabling. One product in the range is RCD compatible for added protection on the power side.
For an alternative suited to a different floor build-up see Cavity Floorboxes or Slab Boxes. Lids and finishing plates are covered under Accessory Plates and Inserts, part of the wider Floor Boxes and Plates range.
Screed Floorboxes FAQs
What depth of screed floorbox do I need?
Depth depends on the screed thickness specified on the project drawings. This range covers 65mm, 75mm, 80mm and 90mm deep boxes, so check the finished floor build-up before ordering to make sure the lid sits flush once the screed is laid.
How many compartments should I choose?
Compartment count depends on how many services need separating. 2 compartment boxes suit a single power and data outlet, while 3 or 4 compartment versions give more room to keep power circuits apart from data and AV cabling in the same box.
Are any of these boxes suitable for RCD protected circuits?
One version in this range is RCD compatible, giving added protection where a residual current device is required on the power circuit. Check the sample products to confirm the compartment layout and depth match your requirement before ordering.
