OS2 Pigtails
OS2 Pigtails are 9/125 singlemode fibre pigtails which are pre-terminated fibre leads for splicing onto backbone cable, supplied with FC, LC, SC or ST simplex adaptors.
OS2 pigtails are short lengths of singlemode fibre factory terminated at one end with a connector, ready to be fusion spliced onto the fibre cores of a backbone or riser cable. They avoid field polishing of connectors on site.
Choosing an adaptor type
These OS2 9/125 and OS1 9/125 singlemode pigtails are available with FC simplex, LC simplex, SC simplex or ST simplex adaptors, so match the connector type to the patch panel or splice tray you are terminating into.
