OM4 Patchcords
OM4 Patchcords are 50/125 multimode duplex fibre leads to connect equipment to patch panels, supplied in LC, SC and ST connector combinations from 1 to 5 metre.
OM4 patchcords are multimode duplex fibre optic patch leads used to connect switches, patch panels and other equipment within an OM4 fibre network, giving higher bandwidth than OM3 over the same distance.
Choosing a patchcord
- Connector combinations: LC-LC, LC-SC, LC-ST, SC-SC, SC-ST and ST-ST
- Lengths from 1 metre up to 5 metre
- Multimode OM4 50/125 fibre throughout
Match the connectors at each end to the ports on your equipment and patch panel. For other fibre grades see OS2 patchcords, OM3 patchcords and OM1 patchcords, or browse all fibre patchcords.
OM4 Patchcords FAQs
What connector combinations are available for OM4 patchcords?
This range covers LC-LC, LC-SC, LC-ST, SC-SC, SC-ST and ST-ST combinations, so you can match different connector types at each end of the patch lead.
What lengths do OM4 patchcords come in?
Lengths run from 1 metre up to 5 metre, so choose the length that suits the run between your patch panel and equipment.
How does OM4 differ from OM3 fibre?
OM4 50/125 multimode fibre supports higher bandwidth over the same distance as OM3. If your network runs OM3, see OM3 patchcords instead.
