Prism fan units are roof and rack mounting fan trays for Prism data and server cabinets, available in 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 way versions for both the PI and FI ranges.

Prism fan units are cooling fan trays for Prism data and server cabinets, fitted to the roof or mounted in the 19 inch rack space to move air through equipment inside the enclosure. They are supplied by Prism DCS for both the PI and FI cabinet ranges.
Choosing the right fan unit
- Mounting: roof mounted trays for PI or FI cabinets, or 19 inch rack mounted trays that take up 1U of rack space.
- Fan count: 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 way versions, to suit the cooling load of the equipment fitted.
- Colour: black finish to match Prism cabinets.

What fan counts are available?
Fan trays are stocked in 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 way versions, so you can match the number of fans to the heat load generated by the equipment in the cabinet.
What is the difference between roof and rack mounted fan trays?
Roof mounted trays fit on top of a PI or FI cabinet, while 19 inch rack mounted trays take up 1U of rack space inside the cabinet itself.
Will a Prism fan unit fit any 19 inch cabinet?
The 19 inch rack mounted trays are built to the standard 19 inch width, while roof mounted trays are matched to the PI or FI cabinet range they are fitted to.
