Cat6a Solid Cable FAQs
What is CPR class and which one do I need?
CPR class rates how a cable performs in a fire, covering flame spread and smoke. B2ca, Dca, Fca and Cca are all available here, and the class required depends on the building type and local regulations.
What is the difference between LSOH, LSZH and PE external sheath?
LSOH and LSZH sheaths give low smoke and low toxicity performance for internal runs, while PE external sheath is designed for outdoor and underground routes exposed to weather.
What comes on a 305m box compared with a 500m reel?
A 305m box is a standard, easy to carry pulling box for most internal runs, while a 500m reel suits longer continuous pulls where fewer joins are wanted.
