What we stock from XeLAN
All 22 XeLAN lines are copper network cabling. Bulk cable accounts for 9 lines, including Cat6a U-FTP screened 4 pair cable in 305m boxes with CPR Euroclass B2ca and Dca ratings, plus Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a solid cable. Connectivity accounts for the rest: Cat6 UTP 6c style modules and Cat6a screened toolless keystone jacks supplied in trade packs of 20 and 24, angled shutters, quarter blanks and 1U 24 port screened unloaded keystone panels.
Why installers buy XeLAN in packs
Most of the XeLAN connectivity is sold in packs of 20 or 24 rather than singly, which is how a cabling job is actually consumed. A 24 port panel, a pack of 24 jacks and a pack of 20 shutters covers a floor without counting individual jacks into a van.
Toolless keystone jacks terminate without a punchdown tool, which speeds up work in ceiling voids and floor boxes where a tool is awkward to swing. They still need the conductors seated correctly, so a verifier remains worth carrying.
