What we stock from Trend Networks
All 35 Trend lines sit in testing and certification. Copper testing is the largest group at 23 lines, and it spans the three tiers of testing. LAN cable certifiers account for 6 lines, including the LanTEK IV-S at 500MHz and 3000MHz. Cable qualifiers account for 8 lines, including the SignalTek QT series. Cable verifiers account for 6 lines, including the VDV II and VDV II Pro with AnyWARE Cloud reporting.
Fibre testing runs to 9 lines, including FIBERTEK IV certification adapters for the LanTEK IV-S, the FiberMASTER Mini Quad OTDR covering 850, 1300, 1310 and 1550nm, and the FiberMASTER video inspection probe. We also hold 5 network tester lines, 4 PoE tester lines and 4 network troubleshooting lines.
Certify, qualify or verify
These three words are not interchangeable and buying the wrong tier is the most expensive mistake in test equipment. A verifier proves the pairs are in the right order. A qualifier proves the link will carry a given application. Only a certifier produces the results a manufacturer needs to issue a system warranty. If the job requires a 25 year system warranty, you need a certifier.
