What we stock from SpeedyRJ45
Our SpeedyRJ45 range is 26 lines. Modular plugs and boots make up 19 of them: Cat6 pass-through plugs in reusable tubs of 100, 500 and 1000, Cat5e pass-through plugs in tubs of 100, feedthrough style Cat6 plugs for unscreened cable, Cat6a plugs, RJ11, RJ12 and RJ22 plugs, and 6 lines of RJ45 boots.
The other 7 lines are tools: the TRCSPDY ratchet crimp tool, the TRCSPDY5 crimp tool for large outside diameter shielded plugs, and replacement cutting blades.
Why installers use pass-through plugs
With a conventional plug you cut the pairs to length and hope the order is right once they are seated. With a pass-through plug the conductors come out of the front of the housing, so you can see the pair order before you crimp, and the crimp tool trims them flush in the same action. On a long day of terminations it removes most of the reworks.
The plugs need the matching SpeedyRJ45 crimp tool. A standard crimp tool will not trim the protruding conductors, so order the tool with the first tub if you have not used the system before.
