What we stock from Ronbar
Our Ronbar range is 25 lines. IP rated enclosures account for 14 of them: grey IP56 ABS adaptable boxes with screw on lids, supplied empty, in six sizes from 150 x 110 x 70mm up to 460 x 380 x 130mm, with matching metal mounting plates sold separately for each size.
Flexible conduit accounts for 11 lines, supplied in bulk rolls and contractor packs, with 3 lines of glands and fittings to terminate it.
Specifying adaptable boxes
The boxes ship empty, which is the point: you drill the entries where the installation needs them rather than working around fixed knock outs. Order the metal mounting plate at the same time as the box if you are fixing equipment inside it, as the plate is sized to the box and is a separate line.
IP56 covers powerful water jets and dust ingress, which makes these suitable for external and plant room positions. If the enclosure is going somewhere that gets hosed down or sits in standing water, check the rating against the site conditions before ordering.
