What we stock from Qube
All 23 Qube lines are data cabinets, and 18 of them are wall mounted. Standard Qube wall boxes come in black at 450mm deep in 6U, 9U and 12U heights. Acoustic wall boxes account for 5 lines, in black at 600mm deep, running from 6U through 9U, 12U and 15U to 18U.
When to specify an acoustic enclosure
An acoustic wall box is worth the extra depth wherever the cabinet shares a room with people: meeting rooms, receptions, classrooms, surgeries and open plan offices. Switch fans are not loud in a plant room and very loud behind a reception desk. The acoustic range is 600mm deep against 450mm for the standard boxes, so check the wall position takes the extra projection before ordering.
Sizing a wall box
Count the U height of the equipment, add a U for a patch panel and a U for cable management, then add headroom. A 6U box that is full on handover leaves no room for the next drop. Depth matters as much as height: a 450mm box will not take a deep switch with cable radius behind it.

Qube wall boxes are stocked in Dartford, dispatched the same day on orders placed before 4pm, with free delivery on stocked orders over £75 + VAT. Larger enclosures ship on a pallet, so confirm site access when ordering.
